Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Process Technician to join their growing team. This is a permanent, full-time role based on a 4-cycle shift system in Longford. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of polymer processing lines in the field of injection moulding.
Key Responsibilities of Process Technician:
- Set up, monitor, and operate polymer processing lines efficiently.
- Apply technical knowledge of processing characteristics and parameters across a wide range of polymer materials.
- Collaborate effectively with Production, Technical, Quality, Toolroom, and Shift Management teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to maintain production flow and quality standards.
- Maintain company and product reputation by complying with all relevant Quality and Safety regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within production processes.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Completed a Polymer Technology Apprenticeship qualification or equivalent.
- Strong technical aptitude in polymer processing.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a 4-cycle shift system.
