Location: Mullingar, Co. Westmeath


Our client, a leading Construction Contractor delivering complex, large-scale, and award-winning projects across Ireland and the UK, has an exciting opportunity for an IT Coordinator to join their energetic team.


The IT Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of IT systems across the organisation. This position involves managing day-to-day IT support, system administration, equipment lifecycle, procurement, and user onboarding, supporting both office-based and site-based teams.


Key responsibilities:

  • Review and optimise IT systems, processes, and procedures to ensure best practice and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain IT filing systems in line with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve IT and business workflows.
  • Coordinate the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network devices.
  • Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new employees, including laptops/desktops, tablets, phones, monitors, and required software.
  • Deliver IT onboarding and induction sessions for new hires.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to office and site teams, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

Key Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an IT Coordinator, IT Administrator, or IT Support role, ideally within a construction, engineering, or multi-site environment.
  • Bachelors Degree or diploma in IT, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and system administration..
  • Proven experience working with external IT service providers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with experience using platforms such as Datto Workplace and Procore.
  • Experience developing digital forms and automated workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Comfortable liaising with operational teams and visiting construction sites when required
  • Full driving License.
