Are you passionate about HR and ready to take the next step in your career? A fast-growing seafood production company is seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Generalist to join its dynamic team, based in either Kinsale Road or Bantry, Cork.
As part of a high-performing HR function, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily HR operations and recruitment processes while helping drive best-in-class employee experiences across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations
Manage HR inboxes and respond to employee queries, escalating where necessary.
Maintain up-to-date personnel files in compliance with GDPR.
Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain and update HR systems and databases.
Deliver comprehensive staff induction programmes both remotely and in-person.
Conduct regular audits on HR systems to ensure compliance.
Monitor and manage absence and sick leave processes.
Support line managers and new hires throughout the probation process.
Assist with the annual performance management cycle.
Recruitment
Provide excellent support to hiring managers and candidates.
Draft and post engaging job descriptions on various platforms.
Screen CVs and job applications to shortlist suitable candidates.
Coordinate and conduct interviews (phone, virtual, or in-person).
What We’re Looking For:
2–3 years of experience in a HR role.
Proven ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
