General Operator

We have partnered with one of Ireland’s leading chemical manufacturers as they grow their team in Little Island, Cork. This is a permanent day’s role (07.30 am- 4.00 pm) located a 10-minute walk from the train station. 

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company quality policies and procedures.

  • Follow manufacturing work instructions.

  • Set controls and operate machinery.

  • Be aware of all Health and Safety compliance in the warehouse.

  • Operating fork lifts.

  • Loading and unloading goods.

  • Correct storage of product for ease of location when required.

  • Housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Manual Handling Certificate advantageous.

  • Driving licence essential.

  • Forklift Licence advantageous.

  • Hard working.

  • Enjoy practical and manual activities.

  • Able to work as part of a team and independently.

  • Able to follow written instructions.

  • Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
