Operator

An exciting opportunity for an Operator to join our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic motor control solutions based in Ringaskiddy, Cork on a permanent contract. This role will involve working a Monday-Friday week (7.45am-4.30pm). Previous experience in an Operator role or assembly experience is advantageous.

Role Responsibilities:

  • The Operator will operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks. 
  • The Operator will prepare components for manual assembly.
  • Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
  • The Operator will use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners.
  • Perform manual assembly of PCB’s and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings and SOP’s.
  • Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components.
  • Application of adhesives and conformal coatings. 
  • Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
  • Set up equipment and carry out process-related measurements as required. 
  • Perform operator machine maintenance as specified. 

Role Requirements:

  • Proven track record of commitment to both quality and production goals.
  • Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions would be preferable.
  • Detail-oriented.
