Field Service Engineer

Overview:

We are looking to hire 4x Field Service Engineers to join our client, a global leader in the semiconductor industry. This is a 12-month contract to support the Installation, maintenance and repair at their site, in Leixlip.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Undertakes all maintenance activities (including installation and commissioning) of products in line with global standards, whilst ensuring complete customer satisfaction:
  • Provides front-line support for key field service activities at customer sites, ensuring a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts fault finding and troubleshooting support in order to resolve or escalate issues within the agreed contractual timeframes in order to meet customer expectations.
  • Provides detailed and accurate feedback on activities and compiles clear and concise reports for submission to the line manager and/or technical support to enable informed decisions to be made to resolve product issues.

Role Requirements:

  • Education level: University or formal qualification in an electrical, electromechanical, or mechanical discipline is desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years of field service experience in a relevant or related industry, ideally customer-facing.
  • Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work e.g. technical drawings.
