An Aviation Service provider based in Shannon is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Electrical Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Promote and demonstrate a safety mindset in all aspects of Facilities work
Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks in both electrical and mechanical fields as assigned by the Facilities Engineer.
Carry out electrical plant installations & services as required.
Develop and maintain a working understanding of relevant plant processes for Facilities plant and equipment.
Analyse malfunctioning plant & equipment, recommend corrective action, and make repairs or modifications as necessary.
Support the operation and maintenance of the Building Management System
Coordinate teams in maintenance, repair & installation work as required.
Deputise for the Facilities Engineer as required.

Requirements:

A relevant electrical trade qualification.
Two years’ post-qualification experience is desirable, ideally working within a facilities maintenance environment.
Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
Experience in HVAC, 10kV distribution systems, UPS systems, elevators, and fire detection/ protection systems is desirable.
