A permanent opportunity has arisen with an advanced medical device start up here in Galway. They are looking to hire an Electronic Design Engineer to join their team as they continue to expand.
The Electronic Design Engineer will be an integral part of the product development team, reporting to the Director of Research & Development, and working closely with the Principal Electronic Engineer. The role will involve teamwork both within the internal team, and with external partners.
Responsibilities
- Support design and test of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
- Support and maintain design control documentation relating to the electronic hardware & software designs.
- Follow documented Quality Procedures within the Quality Management System.
- Work on all elements of the Research & Development of products, from concept generation through to design validation.
- Support products through design transfer and manufacturing.
- Assist in the development of intellectual property generated through the Research & Development activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Level 8 degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year relevant industry experience
- Experienced in power electronic circuit design: analogue, digital, and mixed-signal desirable
