Opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to build a new wing of a well-established company working in the area of sustainability within the Mullingar area. The company is looking to rapidly expand and needs a business development manager with the energy, entrepreneurial spirit and experience to make it happen.
Key Responsibilities of Business Development Manager
- Drive sales through inbound and outbound efforts.
- Prospect and qualify leads via cold calling, email, and other channels, adding them to the sales pipeline.
- Leverage prospecting tools and software to boost engagement.
- Build relationships with potential customers in person, identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Track and meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Play a key role in daily office operations and face-to-face client interactions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order processing and truck routing, with strong operational involvement.
- Process online payments, cash, and liaise with Finance to ensure accurate payment handling.
- Oversee debt management, ensuring accounts remain within credit terms — a core responsibility for the sales team.
