Business Development Executive – Medical Device Sector

We are currently exclusively partnering with our client who are expanding their commercial team and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to support and drive new business growth. This junior-to-mid level role is focused on outbound sales and lead generation and offers a clear path into a Technical Sales position within 6–12 months for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Executive, your day-to-day will include:
Identifying and targeting potential clients through research, email outreach, and cold calling.
Generating interest in the company’s development and manufacturing services.
Qualifying leads and securing discovery meetings with key decision-makers.
Supporting senior sales professionals throughout the consultative sales process.
Collaborating with marketing to plan event attendance and coordinate client meetings.
Building long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
Representing the company at customer meetings and events (occasional travel in Europe).
Keeping CRM records up to date (HubSpot experience is a plus).
Working closely with engineers and project managers on client projects.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
Degree-qualified in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
2–3 years of outbound sales or business development experience (preferably B2B).
Proactive, energetic, and highly motivated.
An excellent communicator with strong networking and interpersonal skills.
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong research and multitasking abilities.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data tools.
A team player who can also thrive independently.
