We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join an established and growing company based in Cork. This is a strategic and high-impact role covering a territory in Cork where you will take full ownership of business development, both commercially and domestically. You will have the autonomy to make bold moves, backed by the strength of the teams' operations and a powerful marketing campaign to support domestic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Take full accountability for commercial and domestic business development across Cork.
Drive bulk fuel, fuel cards, and lubricant sales, with a focus on both the agricultural/transport sectors and the domestic customer base.
Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities.
Capitalise on a strong, dedicated marketing campaign designed to support domestic growth.
Build long-term relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor in the region.
Work closely with internal teams and experienced drivers to deliver excellent service.
Share regular updates on customer trends, competitor activity, and territory performance.
Ensure compliance with credit policies and maintain strong account performance in collaboration with finance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Field Sales role, driving business development.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Previous experience selling to the Agricultural/Construction/Manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.
A proactive, enthusiastic approach to customer service and problem-solving.
Full driving license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
