Overview:
Founded in 1981, our client started as a traditional electrical contracting business and has expanded over the years into a multi-service provider. Its main areas of expertise include electrical contracting, security solutions, solar pv installation and renewable energy solutions.
Due to continued growth they are looking to hire a Panel Installer for their expanding team in Louth. This is a field service role so full drivers licence is essential.
Responsibilities:
You will be working with Tile, Slate, Metal roofs of all kinds and will be completing ground mount arrays, from time to time.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Job Planning / Scheduling
- Loading and unloading materials into a van
- Installation of mounting bracket and railing systems
- Installation of DC cable
- Moving and the Installation of solar panels
- Testing panels
- Completing paperwork
- Running cables, trunking, conduit and cable trays
- Keeping sites clean and tidy during and after a job
- Ensuring safety on site for you, your colleagues and our customers at all times
- Operating lifts, MEWP and tower or scaffold building
Requirements:
- Ideally prior experience as a Solar Panel Installer, with at least two years experience, along with relevant certifications.
- A Full Drivers License is required.
- Manual Handling and Safe Pass highly beneficial.
- A team leader, experienced in managing a crew, coordinating with other site members and office staff as well as providing professional customer service.
- Working as part of a team and helping in any aspect to get a job done.
