Senior HR Business Partner (HR Manager level)
Location: Waterford, Ireland
Contract: 6-month initial contract (potential for permanency)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading regulated manufacturer based in Waterford, is seeking an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their dynamic HR team on an initial 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to partner closely with operations and leadership teams in a fast-paced, unionised, manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders, driving initiatives that support organisational goals and enhance employee engagement.
- Lead and advise on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Provide hands-on support to site management in a unionised environment, fostering strong industrial relations and collaborative communication.
- Partner with key stakeholders to implement effective HR strategies across workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.
- Contribute to organisational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance with employment legislation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years’ HR experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing employee relations in a unionised setting.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated track record in delivering strategic HR initiatives that drive business performance.
- Relevant HR qualification and a thorough understanding of Irish employment law.
