As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving business development, managing client relationships, and supporting the wider sales function. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a commercial career with strong client-facing exposure in a growing organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing incoming sales enquiries and engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs
- Developing tailored solutions in collaboration with the Head of Sales
- Preparing and submitting pricing proposals and commercial quotations
- Supporting business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to sales presentations
- Proactive pipeline management, including timely follow-ups on submissions and open opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and expand the customer base
- Liaising with suppliers for up-to-date product information and pricing
- Monitoring the progress of active opportunities and preparing regular sales activity reports for senior management
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date customer records within CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Supporting the commercial team with administration related to customer accounts, agreements, and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal company policies
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial, sales, or customer-facing role ideally within construction/manufacturing/technical sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and nurture client and supplier relationships
- A natural commercial mindset with an interest in sales, business development, and customer engagement
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and follow-through
- Full clean driver’s licence
