Planner

Our client, a multinational medical device manufacturer, is currently looking for a Planner to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time, on-site position based outside of Waterford City.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan key product production to support manufacturing.

  • Update monthly production volumes in ERP and maintain forecasts in VMI.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for critical SKUs.

  • Prioritise production schedules and issue operational reports as needed.

  • Provide available-to-promise dates to markets and distribution centres.

  • Support new product setup, master data changes, and forecasting activities.

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, NPI, and Operations to maintain accurate MRP and supply master data.

  • Ensure cGMP compliance and contribute to departmental reporting and tier management.

Requirements:

  • Planning or Business related degree or equivalent experience.

  • Ideally 2-3+ years planning experience.

  • IIPMM / AIPICs qualified is an advantage.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Advanced knowledge and comfortable using Excel.

  • Knowledge of ERPLx or similar ERP systems is desirable.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to work on own initiative.
