Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for a residential services business in Galway. This role manages a team of 30–35 field engineers, ensuring smooth delivery of installations and maintenance, while driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


Team & Resource Management:

  • Lead and coordinate field engineers, manage scheduling, tools, vehicles, and equipment

Operations & Service Delivery:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, implement efficient workflows, ensure timely service and resolve issues quickly to meet customer expectations.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Work closely with the Customer Service Team to handle escalations, monitor feedback, and continuously improve service quality and responsiveness.

Financial & Performance Oversight:

  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, monitor KPIs and SLAs and provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Inventory & Supply Chain:

  • Oversee inventory levels, maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment to engineers.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and ensure all team members are trained and compliant with health and safety standards.

 

Candidate Profile:


  • Proven experience in operations management within a service-based industry
  • Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
  • Proficient in budget management, KPIs and operational reporting
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
