Manufacturing Administrator (Production Control) – Maternity Cover


Our client, a well-established and globally recognised manufacturing organisation, is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Administrator / Production Control Administrator to join their site in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is a site-based administrative role supporting production planning, inventory, and cross-functional coordination.

It will suit an experienced manufacturing or operations administrator who is organised, systems-focused, and comfortable working in a structured production environment.


Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to production control and planning activities
  • Update and maintain production schedules, forecasts, and sales order data on internal systems (ERP/MRP)
  • Support S&OP activities through accurate data entry and system updates
  • Coordinate information flow between production, engineering, purchasing, and planning teams
  • Assist with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Production Change Requests from an admin perspective
  • Support inventory control activities, reporting, and stock data accuracy
  • Attend and document cross-functional planning meetings
  • Support 5S audits, stock audits, and general administrative compliance tasks
  • Cover meetings, reporting, and admin tasks for the Production Controller when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or operations administration role
  • Strong administrative background with high attention to detail
  • Confident using computer systems and managing accurate data entry (ERP/MRP experience an advantage)
  • Good Excel and reporting skills
  • Comfortable communicating with multiple departments
  • Organised, reliable, and proactive in managing workload
  • Able to work well in a structured, process-driven environment
