An exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client, a leading Medical Device manufacturer based in Cork on an initial 12-month contract with great scope for permanency. This role would be suited to someone with a strong mechanical skillset, however electrical disciplines would also be considered. This is a shift-based role with hours of 18:30 to 06:30 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Role Responsibilities:
Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using the CMMS system (BMRAM).
Perform maintenance on production equipment, covering both planned and unplanned tasks.
The Maintenance Technician will carry out the maintenance of production process equipment, to include planned preventative and unplanned maintenance tasks.
Coordinate equipment calibrations with calibration and production teams to minimise production impact.
Develop calibration documentation for new equipment.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs adhere to SOPs and GMP requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated controls, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Collaborate on equipment commissioning and validation, including acceptance trials and debugging.
Role Requirements:
Mechanical/Electrical/Multiskilled Apprenticeship or NFQ Level 6 qualification.
2+ years of relevant experience in a regulated industry would be advantageous.
Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings (advantageous).
Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organisational skills.
