We are working with one of Ireland's leading suppliers of material handling and customised automation solutions and are expanding in numerous fields.
They now have an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor at their customer site based in Dublin 12. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide Technical Leadership for Maintenance Technicians and Technical Cleaners at their customer site.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor technical performance using data and KPIs; guide technicians on maintenance routines to improve machine uptime and reliability.
- Ensure all scheduled maintenance is completed, documented, and compliant with internal standards.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams, ensuring service levels meet customer expectations.
- Lead preventive maintenance strategies to reduce breakdowns and increase equipment availability.
- Use available systems to track issues, identify root causes, and recommend machine modifications or upgrades.
- Support the team in responding to changing operational demands with flexibility and customer focus.
- Collaborate with management to make informed decisions on equipment downtime and repair strategies.
- Identify improvement opportunities using structured problem-solving tools; prioritise and implement accordingly.
Job Requirements:
- Third Level Degree in Relevant Engineering Discipline (Ideally Electronic or Mechatronic is Preferred)
- Minimum 3 Years Experience within a similar Supervising/Lead Role within a Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong knowledge in the areas of Electro-Mechanical, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics.
- Interpersonal skills such as the ability to make technical problems understood by non-technical people, listening, coaching, and supporting motivation.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, including using and interpreting statistical tests.
