This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join a leading water services engineering company in Mallow. With the company’s continued growth, they’re looking to add another member to the Health and Safety Team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities
- Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations to ensure compliance
- Ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and industry standards
- Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies on health, safety, and environmental matters
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on health and safety performance
- Maintain effective communication with clients to address safety concerns and improvements
- Manage stakeholder expectations by ensuring consistent safety and regulatory compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a HSQE Manager or in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Full Irish Driving Licence
