Facilities Technician

We are partnering with a leading company in the medical device sector that provides end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and product delivery services to global markets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs across site systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabric.
  • Manage building security systems, including access control and alarms.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Support the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
  • Liaise with and oversee external contractors, ensuring work is completed to required standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job sheets via a CMMS.
  • Monitor building systems, reporting anomalies or potential issues promptly.
  • Uphold health & safety standards, supporting risk assessments and compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building services role.
  • Recognised trade qualification or strong experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
  • Good understanding of health & safety legislation in a workplace setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
