We are partnering with a leading company in the medical device sector that provides end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and product delivery services to global markets. If you’re an experienced Facilities Technician with hands-on expertise in building maintenance, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical repairs, and you want to be part of an industry that improves lives worldwide, this could be the ideal next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs across site systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabric.
- Manage building security systems, including access control and alarms.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests, ensuring timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Support the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Liaise with and oversee external contractors, ensuring work is completed to required standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job sheets via a CMMS.
- Monitor building systems, reporting anomalies or potential issues promptly.
- Uphold health & safety standards, supporting risk assessments and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a facilities, maintenance, or building services role.
- Recognised trade qualification or strong experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
- Good understanding of health & safety legislation in a workplace setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Full, clean driving licence.
