A leading Irish consultancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their growing Circular Economy and Environmental team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary firm delivering projects across waste management, energy recovery, environmental infrastructure, and sustainable resource solutions.
The role is ideally suited to candidates with a background in civil or environmental engineering and at least 4/5 years of relevant experience. Based in North Dublin, this position offers long-term career progression opportunities, including the potential to move into a Principal Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning and execution of design work and CAD documentation alongside project engineers and technicians.
- Attend and participate in site and client meetings.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate deliverables with other internal departments and external consultants.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 4/5 years’ post-graduate professional experience.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable Experience:
- Design experience related to anaerobic digestion facilities, waste infrastructure, or public realm projects.
- Previous involvement in solid waste, bio-waste, or sludge management projects.
