Engineering Stores Operative

New

Our client is recruiting an Engineering Stores/ Warehouse Operative to join their team in Westport, Co. Mayo on a permanent contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work to GMP and good documentation standards in all daily activities.
  • Receive, log, and distribute deliveries using the site ERP system.
  • Issue materials for maintenance work orders and support stock location requests.
  • Keep accurate store records, including high-value items and key control.
  • Carry out regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready Engineering Stores area.
  • Process supplier returns as required.
  • Keep all training and forklift licences up to date (where applicable).
  • Safely handle and move materials and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/ Engineering Stores.
  • Previous training or use of Manual handling equipment
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel is essential
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable
