An established and growing utilities contractor is seeking a Site Manager (Stations PIW) to support the delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary substation and ESBN framework projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to contribute to high profile works and progress within a fast growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as PIW, assigning work on ESBN systems to Approved Persons
- Prepare and issue work packs; oversee pre-mobilisation
- Plan and coordinate works, sequencing, and outage requirements
- Liaise with Stations PICWs for efficient telemessing operations
- Ensure compliance with all SHEQ procedures and policies
- Manage multiple civil and electrical crews across sites
- Oversee quality, environmental, and safety performance on-site
- Maintain project documentation, safety files, and variation records (CVIs)
- Handle additional works such as faults or scope changes
- Conduct regular quality and health & safety audits
Requirements:
- Qualified electrician
- Supervisory experience on 33kV+ live substations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent)
