An established and growing utilities contractor is seeking a Site Manager (Stations PIW) to support the delivery of large-scale, multi-disciplinary substation and ESBN framework projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to contribute to high profile works and progress within a fast growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as PIW, assigning work on ESBN systems to Approved Persons
Prepare and issue work packs; oversee pre-mobilisation
Plan and coordinate works, sequencing, and outage requirements
Liaise with Stations PICWs for efficient telemessing operations
Ensure compliance with all SHEQ procedures and policies
Manage multiple civil and electrical crews across sites
Oversee quality, environmental, and safety performance on-site
Maintain project documentation, safety files, and variation records (CVIs)
Handle additional works such as faults or scope changes
Conduct regular quality and health & safety audits
Requirements:
Qualified electrician
Supervisory experience on 33kV+ live substations
Strong communication and organisational skills
Fluent in spoken and written English (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, or equivalent)
