Electrical Project Manager – Power Division
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple MV/HV projects (38kV–400kV), including substations and underground works. The role involves managing several teams and ensuring delivery to high standards of safety, quality, budget, and schedule. Projects are based in the Munster/Leinster region and require site travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise multiple electrical projects within budget and time constraints
- Ensure compliance with contractual and safety standards
- Oversee project costings, subcontractor claims, and financial reporting
- Provide regular progress reports and lead internal/client meetings
- Identify and manage project risks
- Plan and schedule resources effectively
- Collaborate with SHEQ Manager on all safety, health, environment, and quality matters
- Support business development and tendering activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ MV/HV experience, preferably with substation and site-level background
- Strong technical knowledge of 33kV and above
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Project a plus)
- Motivated leader with clear goal orientation
- Degree in electrical engineering or management (advantageous)
