This role is well-suited to an experienced dairy farmer or someone with strong on-farm experience looking to transition into a field-based commercial role.

You will work directly with dairy farmers, providing practical advice on hygiene systems and milk quality while promoting a range of dairy hygiene and chemical solutions. Sales experience is an advantage but not essential; dairy knowledge and on-farm credibility are key.

  • Work directly with dairy farmers, providing practical on-farm advice
  • Build strong relationships with farmers, co-ops, technicians, and distributors
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within the territory
  • Carry out product demonstrations and hygiene audits where required
  • Plan and manage your own territory to achieve agreed sales targets
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports
  • Represent the business at farm walks, open days, and industry events
  • Work closely with internal technical and management teams

Requirements for Dairy Hygiene Sales Representative:

  • Strong dairy farming background or hands-on dairy sector experience
  • Experience with dairy hygiene chemicals or farm consumables
  • Good knowledge of dairy hygiene practices and milk quality standards
  • Agricultural qualification or formal dairy training ( highly beneficial)
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with good organisation and time management

Package

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience
  • Performance-related commission ( Uncapped)
  • Company vehicle, fuel card, phone, and laptop
  • Full product and technical training provided
  • Long-term career opportunity within a stable Irish agri-business
