German Customer Service Representative - An exciting opportunity has become available with a well-established and highly reputable manufacturing company based in Cavan. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative who is fluent in both German and English to join their international customer support team. This role is key to ensuring a seamless experience for international clients by delivering high-quality transaction processing and top-tier service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer transaction support across global markets

  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding stock availability and pricing

  • Process orders received via phone, email, fax, or online platforms

  • Ensure order accuracy and issue prompt, professional confirmations to customers

  • Monitor and manage SAP system delivery dates to optimise shipments and reduce costs

  • Identify and manage backorders or out-of-stock items, offering alternatives when possible

  • Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Technical, Engineering, and Pricing to resolve queries

  • Escalate any potential issues or irregularities to management

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives

  • Support a positive, collaborative team culture

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of internal systems and customer base (SAP, CRM tools, Office365, etc.)

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a customer service or data entry role, preferably in a fast-paced or B2B environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a solution-focused mindset

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team

  • IT proficient – ideally holding an ECDL qualification or equivalent

  • Confident in handling customer queries across different departments
