The Job:
Based with a public sector body in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, this is a temporary contract where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office - 1 Month FTC initially with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support
- To work cohesively as part of a small team ensuring deadlines are met
- Take calls from members of the public and deal with enquires
- Provide responses to queries from the public
- Monitor and maintain email enquires to the office ensuring they are directed to appropriate staff in a timely manner
- Update and maintain databases using microsoft excel and access
- Maintain confidentiality of documentation, records etc
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibility
- Ensure that archives and records are accurate and readily available
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1+ years experience within administration/accounts
- Strong IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good with figures
- Ability to make informed and confident decisions
