A leading global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisation is seeking an Automation Process Engineer to join its state-of-the-art facility in Sligo, Ireland. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute engineering projects and process improvements.
Perform preventative and demand maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment.
Support equipment development, technical documentation, validation, and troubleshooting.
Identify opportunities for technology upgrades and continuous improvement (CIP).
Design, source, and implement new equipment and capital projects.
Coordinate with equipment vendors and support technical transfers.
Track and present project progress; prepare CAPEX and management reports.
Ensure compliance with PM, calibration, safety, quality, and audit standards.
Deliver technical training and supervise contractors.
Support risk management, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Strong problem-solving and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
Familiar with cGMP, ISO/FDA, and calibration standards.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes.
