Temporary Accounts Administrator required for a 9-12 week contract based in Athlone to cover Summer holidays. Start date ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will support the day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including:
Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Financial Administration
Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
Assisting with month-end reporting, preparation of annual and internal audit files, and the annual budget process
Managing prepaid expenses
Assisting with accruals
Assisting with bank reconciliation
Assisting with the Fixed Asset Register
Assisting with general accounting and finance queries
Assisting with external audit queries
Supporting finance-related projects
Providing office administration support to the business as required
Education and Experience:
Accounts Technician or part-qualified accounting desirable
Previous work experience in a similar role (e.g., accounts assistant/bookkeeper)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and complex Excel formulae
