Accounts Administrator

Temporary Accounts Administrator required for a 9-12 week contract based in Athlone to cover Summer holidays. Start date ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will support the day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including:

  • Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Financial Administration

  • Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations

  • Assisting with month-end reporting, preparation of annual and internal audit files, and the annual budget process

  • Managing prepaid expenses

  • Assisting with accruals

  • Assisting with bank reconciliation

  • Assisting with the Fixed Asset Register

  • Assisting with general accounting and finance queries

  • Assisting with external audit queries

  • Supporting finance-related projects

  • Providing office administration support to the business as required

Education and Experience:

  • Accounts Technician or part-qualified accounting desirable

  • Previous work experience in a similar role (e.g., accounts assistant/bookkeeper)

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications and complex Excel formulae
