RevolutionXJigsaw Cycle Challenge

Collins McNicholas embarked on a virtual cycle challenge to raise much-needed funds for Jigsaw, The National Centre for Youth Mental Health. This entailed bringing in a stationary bike to every office and cycling all day on Friday the 27th of September to reach a combined office total of 1,000km. Check out our social media channels to see how we got on.

Revolution X Jigsaw is a virtual cycle fundraising challenge to ensure that our children will have access to the mental health services and supports they deserve. Fundraiser ends at 5pm on World Mental Health Day, Thursday 10th October 2019.  All funds raised here go directly to this great cause. I hope you can help us by donating whatever you can. All donations are processed securely. You can also share our page on social media platforms to help spread the word. This is a great way to show your support.

Many thanks for your help!

Galway Bay 10K Run

On Saturday, October 5th, participants from our offices took part in The Galway Bay 10K run.

There are now over 3,000 participants in the Galway Bay 10K run and it’s fast becoming one of the major running events in Ireland. The course straddles the quaint Latin Quarter of Galway City, the famous Claddagh Quay and the majestic coast road with it’s panoramic views of the Burren in County Clare across the Atlantic waters of Galway Bay.

About Jigsaw

Jigsaw, The National Centre for Youth Mental Health, work to ensure that no young person in Ireland feels alone, isolated or disconnected from others around them. They work closely with communities around the country to provide support to young people and their mental health, specifically those between 12-25 years of age.

Since being founded in 2008 Jigsaw has helped almost 25,000 young people with their mental health and now has 14 offices. They have built a team of passionate and creative individuals who believe in a proactive, community-based approach to making a difference. Offering a comfortable place that young people can visit for free to meet with trained mental health professionals helps prioritises their wellbeing and makes the process as easy as possible for the individual.

Collins McNicholas & Jigsaw

Collins McNicholas committed to supporting Jigsaw and their excellent work through both fundraising and volunteering hours. We believe that their work is extremely important and we were happy to help in any way possible to end the stigma around mental health. Each of our offices teamed up with their local Jigsaw centre.

As a group we held a number of events throughout the year with the proceeds going entirely to Jigsaw. Employees also have the option to spend a number of working hours volunteering with Jigsaw, while some took part in fundraising events being organised by the charity themselves.

Check out our blogs on our charity work to keep up to date on all our great fundraising work!
