Our client is a leading company in the Medical Devices industry and an exciting opportunity has opened up for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join their team in Killorglin, Kerry. This would be a Monday to Friday full-time role with an initial contract until Christmas which has the potential to be extended or made permanent.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will become an integral part of the warehouse team, ensuring an excellent level of quality and service to customers. You will be responsible for supporting warehouse duties including goods inwards, order picking and packing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive goods into the warehouse, inspect for quality and quantity and update warehouse system.
- Ensure all goods are picked and packed according to company SOPs and KPIs.
- Inventory control and stock rotation duties.
- Manage dispatch order queries.
- Assist with the return of goods and repairs.
- Develop and maintain a broad understanding of all aspects of the sales and support process.
- Organise collections as required and liaise with courier companies.
- Maintain the warehouse to an appropriate level of cleanliness and carry out all tasks in line with ISO standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Strong IT skills – experience in SAP is desirable.
- Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
