Stores Person

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores Person to join an established machinery business located near the Limerick/Cork border. This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based fully in office. Due to continued growth in this business, this is a new role and will join an experienced stores/parts team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate supply of parts to meet customer and in-house service demands.
  • Maintain accuracy in supply times, parts issuance, and invoicing.
  • Maintain the professional appearance of the parts department to reflect positively on the company.
  • Handle phone and email inquiries and follow through to complete the sale.
  • Complete and file all administrative paperwork clearly and in-line with parts procedures.
  • Receive and book in parts as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will have relevant experience or a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to grow into the role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Stores Operator or Goods In/Out role.
  • Background in farming, agricultural or garden machinery is desirable but not necessary.
  • High standard of work with strong attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to understand the parts and give advice to customers.
  • Proficient in IT.
