Our client, a leading global healthcare company based in Cavan is recruiting a Quality Systems Specialist on a 12 mnoth contract.
Primary Function / Goals / Objectives
- Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant.
- Report any current or potential hazards to your manager immediately.
- Wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E) at all times where required.
- Responsible for reviewing all SOP’s for any job task he/she may carry out and ensure he/she fully understands and adheres to the SOP.
- Play a key role in ensuring plant documentation is compliant and audit ready.
- Input and report associated metrics to manager and Site leadership.
- Support plant audits.
- This list of responsibilities may change depending on plant needs and employees are expected to be adaptable and flexible where this need arises.
Major Responsibilities
- Reviewing manufacturing documentation ahead of batch release to ensure documentation complies to Good Documentation Practices and Regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with area representatives in obtaining all documentation associated with batch release.
- Co-ordinate and prioritise all documentation to ensure that it is reviewed and acceptable to be released prior to the due date.
- Report any non-conformances identified to the area representatives
- Ensure compliance to all AQR and Division Policies in the area of responsibility.
- Responsible for ensuring cGMP best practice throughout the plant and developing programmes to continually improve plant practices.
Education Required
- A Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Chemistry/Quality or a Third level qualification in a related discipline.
