Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator – Medical Device Industry | Sligo Region (12-Month Contract)

Are you an experienced Project Coordinator with a passion for driving efficiency and excellence in a regulated manufacturing environment? We are currently partnering with a leading organisation in the medical device sector that is expanding its project management function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly innovative team at the forefront of product development and manufacturing.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to extend depending on project needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to translate customer requirements into actionable project and capacity plans.

  • Coordinate and schedule project tasks to ensure timely execution and delivery.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing planners and the quality team to align on production readiness and documentation.

  • Monitor and track WIP (Work-In-Progress), raw materials, tooling, and finished goods to support efficient inventory control.

  • Analyse resource availability and equipment capacity to identify and resolve constraints.

  • Support project costing, quoting, and budgeting activities.

  • Ensure adherence to internal SOPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning and project delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Prior experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment is a strong advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project planning tools (e.g. MS Project, ERP/MRP systems).

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Comfortable in a customer-facing role with strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset.
