Our client is a leading food manufacturer with a facility based in Macroom, Cork and they are looking to hire a Manufacturing Systems Expert to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an on-site role and would suit someone with excellent working knowledge of SAP modules in a manufacturing environment.
The Manufacturing Systems Expert will take charge of performing tasks related to manufacturing systems, aimed at optimising stock and production transaction management for efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, this role encompasses administrative responsibilities for the factory floor system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counting checks and stock alignment, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Manage scheduled stocktakes, including annual site stocktake, as per defined frequency.
- Align backflush materials and liaise with master data for necessary changes.
- Verify consumption records in MES/SAP and ensure TECO compliance.
- Daily resolution of 'problem' stock and crashed iDocs/COGI errors.
- Perform missing transactions in TKD or other systems as required.
- Create new SOP/OPL and provide coaching/training to the manufacturing team on system use.
- Rectify incorrect product declarations across all systems for data accuracy.
- Collaborate with finance for month-end closure and resolution of blocking issues.
- Investigate production orders with unexpected activities or consumptions.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of SAP experience within a manufacturing or similar setting.
- Relevant 3rd level qualification.
- Familiarity with SAP modules and their interactions within a multinational context.
- Experienced in data entry and adept at data management.
- Proficient in utilising MS Office applications.
- Strong numerical acumen for recording, interpreting, and analysing crucial process data.
- Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
