Job Description: Installation Technician - Field Based Midlands
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Technician to join our team. This full-time role involves attending customer sites for sign installation and maintenance work, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations. This role will primarily cover the Midlands to West region but may be required to travel nationwide when needed. A company Van is provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites for allocated sign installation and maintenance work.
- Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work as required.
- Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work collaboratively with team members and liaise professionally with clients.
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
- Ensure site cleanliness and proper disposal of materials post-installation.
- Occasionally undertake overnight stays when required for work assignments.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Full driver’s license required.
- Willingness to travel across the country and stay overnight when necessary.
- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Good time management and ability to work independently.
- Current Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification is desirable (training can be provided if needed).
- Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance in the industry.
