Job Description: Installation Technician
This full-time role involves attending customer sites for sign installation and maintenance work, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with safety regulations. This role will primarily cover the Dublin to Midlands region but nationwide travel may be required depending on business needs. A company Van is provided.
As this is a field service role a full drivers licence is required for the role. This role also involves working outside so if Irelands ever changing weather gets you down then this might not be the right role for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites for allocated sign installation and maintenance work.
- Ensure all installations are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repair work as required.
- Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work collaboratively with team members and liaise professionally with clients.
- Adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
- Ensure site cleanliness and proper disposal of materials post-installation.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Willingness to travel across the country and stay overnight when necessary.
- Positive, can-do attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Current Safe Pass & Manual Handling certification is desirable (training can be provided if needed).
- Additional relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance in the industry.
