Human Resource Manager - Mayo - Hybrid 1 Day
We are looking for an experienced professional to take ownership of both HR and EHS at our client's Irish site. This role offers the opportunity to shape people and safety strategies locally, while also contributing to wider company initiatives.
As the HR Manager, you will:
- Oversee all HR and EHS operations for the Irish site, ensuring policies, processes, and practices are effective, consistent, and compliant.
- Partner closely with site leadership and managers to build strong teams, support employee development, and drive engagement.
- Lead on performance management, payroll, benefits, and compensation cycles, ensuring employees are supported and processes run smoothly.
- Manage employee relations with a fair and solutions-focused approach, fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with Irish employment law, EHS regulations, and GDPR requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to maintain and continuously improve the EHS management system.
- Drive initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness and contribute to the growth and success of the Irish site.

Requirements:
- BSc in Human Resources and/or Employment Law qualification or a relevant discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience within an HR Strategic/Leadership role, ideally within a multinational progressive organisation with a proven reputation for working in a demanding and competitive environment. Experience in HR business partnering with ownership for a business area.
- A thorough knowledge of Employment Law, practices, and their application, with a proven track record in dealing with employee relations issues.
- Experience in EH&S is advantageous but not essential.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders.
- Strong team player with the ability to engage and influence.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong IT proficiency and administrative skills.
