We’re partnering with an innovative client who is redefining their industry, tearing up the old rulebook, and setting new standards. Due to their continued expansion, they are looking for a driven Business Development Representative with a true hunter mentality to join their team in Wilton, Cork. This position will be a combination of on-the-road meeting potential customers as well as in-office work.

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the heart of their sales and commercial growth, driving new business, building strong relationships, and delivering on their promise of exceptional service. You will be a strategic thinker, full of ambition, and a desire to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new sales through outbound calls, inbound leads, and targeted campaigns.
  • Connect with prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Build and run marketing campaigns, understanding the full marketing funnel.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the service offering, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Qualify leads and initiate sales conversations with key decision-makers.
  • Use CRM systems to maintain accurate client data and track performance.
  • Contribute to breaking into new markets and spearheading regional/national campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional people and communication skills.
  • A true self-starter who is hungry to succeed.
  • Strong planning ability – always thinking a few steps ahead.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to handle and interpret data.
  • Confident presenting and influencing at all levels, including C-suite.
  • Good at building relationships both internally and externally.
  • A team player but can work independently to get things done.
  • Open to change and implementing effective change across the divisions.
  • IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient.
