Business Development Manager - Galway - Permanent
Business Development Manager required for an Irish wear brand to grow its distribution in Ireland and in international markets.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
A highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years of managerial role experience in the wholesale or retail apparel sector, preferably with a relevant third-level qualification.
Capable of managing and developing sales in line with the company's budgetary and margin requirements
Capable of identifying and activating new market opportunities in line with brand profile and values
Possessing good communication, negotiation, and IT skills
Capable of developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
Capable of managing the company’s supply chain relationships.
Capable of developing creative promotional activities, including on a co-operative basis with retail partners
Capable of delivering training for third-party staff, empowering them to act as brand ambassadors
Possessing the necessary interpersonal skills to work as a key player in a small, dedicated team.
Ability to focus on priorities and follow up on assigned tasks.
Possess a full clean driving licence and the ability to travel on the island of Ireland and abroad, as required by the business.
Ability to report clearly to the Board of Directors, on a weekly basis, regarding sales vs budget, market opportunities, client relationships, and proposed responses to any challenges arising.
