Job Opportunity- Building Surveyor
An established multidisciplinary building consultancy is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join its expanding building surveying team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects, providing expert advice across building compliance, technical due diligence, and property-related matters, while also supporting project delivery and mentoring junior team members.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and oversee tendering procedures
- Compile, review, and approve technical reports and drawings
- Deliver technical due diligence, building surveys, and defect assessments
- Advise clients on building regulations, planning compliance, and general building matters
- Lead and support the coordination and management of project works
- Prepare dilapidations reports and negotiate settlements on commercial properties
- Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and internal teams
- Contribute specialist technical expertise to projects as required
- Support business development and client relationship management
Job Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an equivalent qualification
- Chartered and/or Registered Building Surveyor status (desirable)
- 5–10 years’ experience, ideally within a consultancy environment
- Strong onsite surveying experience across commercial and residential buildings
- Proven experience with dilapidations and lease-related negotiations
- Excellent technical knowledge with strong report writing skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel
- Confident client-facing skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
