This is an exciting opportunity for an Automation Technician to join a leading healthcare organization in Waterford. You will maintain automation equipment for safe, efficient, and compliant production.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain automation equipment for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance with documentation.
- Implement process improvements (cGMP compliant).
- Assist with equipment commissioning.
- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Cross-train technicians.
- Travel for equipment support/training.
- Uphold safety and quality standards (GMP).

Qualifications:
- Level 6-8 HETAC qualification (Manufacturing Tech, Mechanical/Automation/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics).
- Qualified trades personnel with industrial experience are also considered.
- Automation/robotics experience (high volume).
- Medical device manufacturing experience (desirable).
- Experience with pneumatics, electronics, hydraulics, PLCs, servo motors, vision systems, ultrasonic welding, and machining (desirable).
- FAT, SAT, IOPQ experience (automated assembly).
