The Job:
We are working with one of Ireland's most instantly recognisable food brands as they embark on another period of growth. Based in Longford, but open to hybrid work, the Accounts Receivable Project Specialist will be responsible for working with wider team members to assess and streamline processes and systems. This role is pivotal in driving process enhancements, ensuring adherence to financial standards, and overseeing the daily functions of the AR team.
This is initially a contract role for 9 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Redesign: Lead the evaluation and overhaul of AR processes.
- Change Management: Implement change initiatives across teams and systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to improve AR systems.
- KPI Development: Create and monitor AR KPIs and reporting metrics.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations.
- Team Management: Oversee the daily activities of the AR team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- 5–10 years in accounts receivable or credit/collections, with a focus on restructuring.
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical abilities, leadership, and expertise in change management.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
