Opportunity for a French-speaking Accountant to join our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company with a Shared Services Centre in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin. You will join the RTR team, focusing on the French Market.
This is a temporary contract lasting 6-12 months, 4 days onsite with flexible start times between 7-10am.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly general ledger close activities ensuring compliance with French GAAP.
- Review and prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries to ensure high-quality compliance with French GAAP.
- Complete SOX controls in line with the control matrix.
- Collaborate closely with our outsourced business partner.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, providing information and support as required.
- Ensure timely completion of internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in key team projects.
- Standardize processes following migration to SAP.
Ideal experience:
- Language: Fluency in French is required.
- Accounting Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA preferred; part-qualified candidates will be considered.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a Shared Service Centre and/or multinational corporation.
- ERP Systems: Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems is highly desirable
- Skills: Demonstrated initiative in change management and process improvements.
