Our Story so far…
Collins McNicholas was established in Galway in 1990 by two former HR Directors, Colman Collins and Val McNicholas. In November 2015, the company was sold in a Management Buy Out to three of its most senior management executives, Niall Murray, Antoinette O’Flaherty and Michelle Murphy. Today, Collins McNicholas has a nationwide presence with offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Sligo and Athlone.

2020: Collins McNicholas celebrates 30 years in business.
2020: Awarded Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award. To mark our seventh year in a row we were awarded Platinum Member status.
2019: Awarded 4th place in the Great Place to Work awards in the ‘Best Small Workplaces’ category – our fifth year in a row.
2017: Opened Limerick office, establishing first Collins McNicholas team in the Midwest region and the company’s sixth office overall.
2015: Collins McNicholas Group sold in a management buy-out to senior executives, Niall Murray, Antoinette O’Flaherty and Michelle Murphy.
2013: Completed 250km challenge run in aid of Pieta House, raising €5,000.
1998: Appointed former IDA Chief Executive, Padraic White as Company Chairman.
1994: Became the first recruitment company to achieve ISO 9002 certification. Expanding rapidly to open new offices in Dublin (1992), Cork (1995), Sligo (1998), Athlone (2000) and Limerick (2017).
