The role of a Financial Advisor

Financial advisors lead an exciting career, often working closely across many organisational functions depending on their size. They are often asked to create long-term strategies on investment options that are suitable for our client’s financial goals and risk tolerance. A financial advisor is generally responsible for providing advice and guidance to help manage finances, plan for the future, and achieve overall financial goals.

Financial Advisors have excellent career progression opportunities, given their transferable skillset. A career in the finance industry is always exciting, given that advisors must constantly stay informed of changes in the industry and new financial products and services that may benefit their role.

Depending on the size or type of company, a Financial Advisor is sometimes called a Financial Controller, Financial Analyst, Financial Consultant, Financial Officer, Fund Advisor, Investment Analyst, Mortgage Advisor, Insurance Advisor, Tax Manager or Enterprise Risk Manager.
