Accounts Assistant - Temporary 6 Month Contract - Onsite - South Galway
Responsibilities:
Process Non PO invoices
Process PO invoices in Kefron
Statement Reconciliations
Processing of Visa inputs & statements:
Excise Duty returns to Revenue
Tax Clearance
Set up on Transac
Assist with the administration tasks associated with all internal IT systems
Provide administration support for special projects including the application of grants, proposals, business cases etc.
Provide cover during the leave of colleagues and undertake other relevant duties as required.
Perform other duties as required by Head of Finance/Deputy
Requirements:
Ideally have or studying towards an Accounting Technician qualification or a Business Management, Business Administration, Secretarial Administration qualification or equivalent.
Previous relevant Accounts Payable work experience is desirable
Knowledge and understanding of coding and purchase order process highly desirable
Willingness to assume responsibility, ownership and accountability of the assigned work
IT Literate with excellent working knowledge of MS Office to include advanced level skills in Excel
Excellent written communication skills
Extensive Diary and Inbox Management skills
Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills that enable working with people at all levels
Ability to work within a team environment and be self-motivated
