Accounts Assistant - Temporary 6 Month Contract - Onsite - South Galway

Responsibilities:

  • Process Non PO invoices

  • Process PO invoices in Kefron

  • Statement Reconciliations

  • Processing of Visa inputs & statements:

  • Excise Duty returns to Revenue

  • Tax Clearance

  • Set up on Transac

  • Assist with the administration tasks associated with all internal IT systems

  • Provide administration support for special projects including the application of grants, proposals, business cases etc.

  • Provide cover during the leave of colleagues and undertake other relevant duties as required.

  • Perform other duties as required by Head of Finance/Deputy

Requirements:

  • Ideally have or studying towards an Accounting Technician qualification or a Business Management, Business Administration, Secretarial Administration qualification or equivalent.

  • Previous relevant Accounts Payable work experience is desirable

  • Knowledge and understanding of coding and purchase order process highly desirable

  • Willingness to assume responsibility, ownership and accountability of the assigned work

  • IT Literate with excellent working knowledge of MS Office to include advanced level skills in Excel

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Extensive Diary and Inbox Management skills

  • Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills that enable working with people at all levels

  • Ability to work within a team environment and be self-motivated
