Samantha McCaughren

Samantha McCaughren is Business Editor of the Sunday Independent, Ireland biggest selling quality Sunday newspaper. Prior to this, she was a business correspondent and columnist with the Sunday Times for three years. Samantha previously served as chief business correspondent with the Sunday Business Post, where she worked for six years. Samantha also worked as the acting deputy business editor with the Irish Independent, where she worked for seven years and held a number of roles in the business team. She holds a Masters in Journalism and an honours degree in English and sociology from Trinity College.
