Collins McNicholas are delighted to partner with Mafic Black Basalt Ireland Limited (Mafic) in recruiting for their new start-up facility in Kells, Co Meath, Ireland. With plans to employ 70 people over the next three years, this is excellent news for Ireland and particularly the Kells area.  This facility will produce Basalt Fibre from a single material, crushed basalt. Basalt Fibre is used as a fireproof textile in the aerospace and automotive industries and is also used as a composite to produce a large number of products, including pallets.

We were delighted to attend the announcement yesterday (see photo below).  Congratulations and well done also to Connect Ireland for winning this project for Ireland.
